Here's one of the best and easiest exercises for lower abs that you can do in the gym.
Start Position: Get on the Captain's chair (a bottomless chair hanging from a bar with padded arm rests). Curl your knees in front of your body, with your thighs at 90 degrees to your body (or parallel to the ground, whichever way you like to look at it).
Curl Movement: Bring your knees into your body until they almost touch your chest, concentrating on using your lower abs to do so and not your back. Hold this position. Slowly bring back your knees and thighs to the start position. Repeat 20 times each set for 3 sets.
Notes:
• Remember to keep your breathing in check.
• Make sure your back is straight throughout this exercise.
• Relax your neck and shoulder muscles.
• Hold a dumbbell between your ankles if this exercise becomes too easy for you.
